The firm is based near the Brescia law courts (Palazzo di Giustizia) and provides support and legal assistance nationally and internationally in relation to legislation on protecting personal data, new technologies, corporate law, property law and inheritance law. A wide range of legal services is available for private clients and companies of all sizes operating in all sectors, and government departments and organisations.

The aim of the Firm is to provide clients with effective, concrete solutions driven by client requirements, establishing supportive relationships with each client based on mutual trust and professional skills.

Legal advice and support can be provided in Italian, English and German, in court and out-of-court cases.

We offer comprehensive advice, and work with other professionals such as accountants, security managers and notaries as part of a well-established team.

Certification

Monica Lippa was one of the first Data Protection Officers endorsed by Bureau Veritas in accordance with the new UNI 11697:2017 certification framework. Furthermore, she is certificated as CIPP/E-CIPM by IAPP and ISDP 10003:2020 Auditor by AICQ Sicev.

Qualified Lawyer Monica Lippa

After gaining a scientific high school diploma in 1992, Monica Lippa moved to Munich to study for a diploma in German language, which she obtained in 1993.
After returning to Italy she graduated in jurisprudence in 1998 from Milan University, and up until 2006 worked as a legal consultant in property, company and inheritance law within the notarial profession.
In 2003 she started to develop an interest in privacy legislation and, after qualifying as a lawyer, set up the Monica Lippa Law Firm in 2008.

In 2009 Monica provided General Counsel services in Milan, and in 2010 became a member of the German Bar Association, DAV – Deutscher Anwalts Verein.
In 2010 she was appointed to her first position as Data Protection Officer. In 2014 Monica published the dark comedy Avvocati a Milano, which was translated into English with the help of a native English-speaking translator in 2017.

In 2018 she became a member of the Milan-based DPO Association, and was one of the first Data Protection Officers to obtain Cepas-Bureau Veritas accreditation in accordance with the new UNI 11697:2017 framework. In 2019 she was appointed as a member of the Scientific Committee of the DPO Association “Asso DPO”, Public Administration working group. In 2020 and 2021 she has been recognized as a Certified Information Privacy Professional Europe (CIPP/E) and as a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) by International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) according to standard ISO 17024:2012. In 2021 she has been recognized as Privacy Auditor by “AICQ Sicev” in accordance with the ISDP 10003:2020 framework.
